2019 Community Survey now available online
Sarasota, FL: For those who live, work or play in the Sarasota city limits, the 2019 Community Survey is now available online, as the City of Sarasota seeks feedback on a wide variety of community topics.
This online survey will take the pulse of residents and visitors about a wide range of issues from parks programs to sustainability issues to growth and development. Feedback about services, programs and priorities will be presented to the City Commission and may serve as a helpful resource during the upcoming budget process.
“This is the first community survey the City has conducted in five years,” said Senior Process Analyst Laura Witttenbauer who is facilitating the survey. “It’s amazing to think how much our community and organization have grown and changed during that time. From the creation of a Parks and Recreation Department to approval of The Bay master plan, so much has happened in Sarasota, and we're eager to hear residents' and visitors' opinions on these and many other topics.”
The survey is available at SarasotaFL.gov/Survey2019 now through Feb. 9, in both English and Spanish.
Anyone interested in the future of our community -- full-time or seasonal residents, visitors, business owners and merchants – are encouraged to participate in the survey.
The survey consists of 24 questions and should take less than 15 minutes to complete. Participants will be eligible to win prizes.
